Why Your Financial Aid May Be Adjusted

What would cause your financial aid to be adjusted and how you'll be notified.

Any resulting balance on your account is your responsibility. Your aid may be adjusted at any point during the semester if:

  • Your financial aid awards exceed your cost of attendance or financial need
  • Your expected family contribution changes as a result of verification
  • You received aid from more than one institution during the same award year

You will be notified with detailed information of any adjustments made to your aid. You may appeal most financial aid award adjustments.
