Fall 2020 Billing Schedule
The first billing statement of the fall 2020 semester will be issued on or after August 10th with a due date on August 31, 2020. For more information on billing due dates for fall 2020, please visit https://bursar.psu.edu/tuition-due-dates. You may see charges on your account during the first week of August.
Applying for Loans
Federal student loans, such as the Federal Direct Loan and the Parent PLUS Loan, generally have more favorable terms and conditions than private loans. You must have a current year FAFSA on file for federal loan consideration.

When to Apply
We recommend applying for your loan before your bill is issued to avoid delays in processing your payment and receiving your refund .
Where to Find Estimated Cost Information
Login to LionPATH and your Award Summary.
View your estimated payment to the University for fall and spring (loans are typically borrowed for the full academic year). You will see charges for Room & Board and Meals on your bill if you are living on campus and have a dining contract.
Add in any non-billable expenses that you need to cover for fall and spring. Non-billable expenses include any costs you may incur in your educational career that do not appear on your university bill. It is up to you to decide what charges you want to include in the loan.
