2017-18 Continuing Student Aid Awarding

The awarding of aid to our continuing student population is set for the week of July 10th.

Federal Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loan Checklist

Students borrowing Federal Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans for fall 2016 and spring 2017 need to complete a few tasks in order for the loans to disburse.

E-mail from PSU Admissions re: 2018-19 FAFSA

An e-mail was generated from the Office of Admissions reminding you to submit your 2018-19 FAFSA by February 15th. This is a general message and is not in any way tied to the LionPATH system. If you have submitted your FAFSA, selected PSU as a recipient, and received a receipt from Federal Student Aid indicating that your FAFSA has been successfully submitted to Federal Student Aid, then no further action is required. Once you have an offer of enrollment, then the FAFSA information will be linked to your record and display in your LionPATH account.

Origination Fee Changes for Direct Sub/Unsub, Parent PLUS, and Grad PLUS Loans

Due to the government sequester that went into effect on March 1, 2013, Direct Sub/Unsub, Parent PLUS, and Graduate PLUS loans first disbursed on or after October 1, 2017 and prior to October 1, 2018 will have a new origination fee. This will include any loans not already disbursed and any new loans awarded after this date.
