E-mail from PSU Admissions re: 2018-19 FAFSA

An e-mail was generated from the Office of Admissions reminding you to submit your 2018-19 FAFSA by February 15th. This is a general message and is not in any way tied to the LionPATH system. If you have submitted your FAFSA, selected PSU as a recipient, and received a receipt from Federal Student Aid indicating that your FAFSA has been successfully submitted to Federal Student Aid, then no further action is required. Once you have an offer of enrollment, then the FAFSA information will be linked to your record and display in your LionPATH account.

Submit your FAFSA to receive financial aid!

Penn State’s FAFSA recommended submission date is approaching. Don’t miss your opportunity to receive financial aid. The 2018-19 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available at This is the only form you need to submit to apply for most financial aid at Penn State. Please submit your FAFSA by February 15, 2018 to receive maximum consideration for financial aid. Penn State’s Federal School Code is 003329. We encourage you to submit the FAFSA regardless of whether you will qualify for need-based aid. Notifications of student aid awards will be emailed in early March to admitted students who complete the FAFSA by February 15. The package will include all types of aid for which a student qualifies — including loans, grants, scholarships, and work-study. Additional information about submitting the FAFSA is available on the Office of Student Aid website.
