How to Accept Your Perkins Loan

Accept your Loan

Each academic year, you need to accept, decrease, or decline your loans via your LionPATH Student Center.

First-time borrowers also need to sign a Master Promissory Note (MPN) through ECSI, a third party loan servicer.

Notification to Sign MPN

Perkins loan borrowers will receive an email invitation from ECSI with directions on how to electronically sign your MPN online.

How to Sign Your MPN

Log on to the ECSI website and provide the requested information to sign your MPN.

Receiving the Loan Funds

Your Perkins loan will appear as a credit on your bill and disburse after you complete these requirements.
