You only need to fill out one of these forms if your parent(s):

• Filed 2016 federal taxes, open and follow the instructions on the Parent 2016 Federal Tax Information for Tax-Filers form
• DID NOT file 2016 federal taxes, open and follow instructions on the Parent 2016 Federal Tax Information for Non-Filers form
• Filed 2016 foreign taxes, earned foreign income and did not have to file taxes, or are a foreign non-filer, open and follow the instructions on the Parent 2016 Foreign Tax Information for Foreign Tax-Filers/Non Tax-Filers form
